Know KSHDB

The Kerala State Hindu Devaswom Board (KSHDB) is a society registered in 2005 under the Travancore–Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955. The organization is dedicated to protecting and revitalizing temples, sacred groves (Kavus), and ashrams in Kerala that face difficulties in continuing their activities.

KSHDB works to preserve and promote the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma, while creating awareness among society and inspiring the younger generation to understand and uphold these spiritual and cultural traditions. The Board also focuses on the welfare of the Hindu community by planning initiatives such as educational institutions, healthcare facilities, temple-based marriage halls, and welfare programs for economically weaker families.

Governed by a nine-member administrative board, KSHDB envisions a network of temple committees and district committees across Kerala, bringing devotees together through temple-centered activities to strengthen social unity, spiritual awareness, and community welfare.
